| Well, a lot has changed- I got a new job, I'm a Project Engineer for the Solid Waste Division of St. Louis County Health... Its a title I chose since Project Manager and Engineer were both open to me... It'll look good on a business card. I'll have to finish my masters online- but its only liek 3 more classes, so NBG. I'm loving this new job though. After work I'm lifting atleast 4 times a week- which is great. I'm really glad I'm back in the gym regularly and I'm thinking of entering a competiton of somesoret next summer, it may just end up being a slow pitch softball league, or maybe a bicycle race or something since my ankle is too fucked to do any running. I also have a new GF- we've been dating for a while now but in the past two months things ahve really gotten serious and she's absolutley amazing. I'm also saving up to buy an '04 Cadillac CTS-V which I plan to put a stroked LQ9 in with L92 heads and a whipple blower on top with Kooks and Corsa exhaust on the bottom- a ASAish cam in the middle to make it sound truly badass (something with the same duration but a little more lobe seperation and lift). yea I'm building a Cadi race car.... I know its awesome. I also have to start saving up for that land I always planned on buying. I'll probably go for it next summer and I'd like to have atleast a 10% down payment. | | |
| So I got the truck all ready for inspection, only to find out I had the wrong title- I had one, a good one, for an s10... but what s10 I'll never know. I get the real one on Monday . I also start back up at the water division on Monday- I REALLY like that job. Its not good pay by any means, but I really enjoy the work, and they will have two vacant full time engineering positions available, so maybe something will work out. I think I'll be going to this reunion thing, I was going to try to find someone to crash with, I may just go it on my own though... Who knows. Still have to build the engine for the TA... Still need to find a good girl friend (got rid of the last one recently)... still need to graduate... still need to get a full time job. | | |
| Well, its been a long time snce I updated this... I may be moving to Louisville, KY for a water treatment engineering job with CH2M. I'm pretty excited about it all since they're the leading engineering firm in the world for water treatment. If I do go I'll probably go to U of Lou- for my engineering masters and doctorate as well- I still want to get it and someday many years from now maybe teach. I've been seeing a few girls. one in particular has really caught my attention and while moving to KY would probably end anythind for now its very nice. I got my s10 running last weekend, still need to get the clutch worked out, but its asically done (except it needs a new radio) which means I can get started on the Trans Am finally... The body and the interior are all good on that, and I put new tires on it last year so al I need to do is decide which engine I'm going to put in it and build the damn thing... hopefully I can make it to KC for this reunion thing coming up, but we'll see how it al goes. | | |
| Things have been going well in SEMO lnad. I got fundind for this summer to "do wahtever I can find". Basically have fun in the lab. :) and I am also the new leader for the statics study session cause the normal proff can't teach to save his ass (go me!). I also only have class on Mon and Tues next fall, am still on the cheerleading squad next year, and anything that happens has been going great. Life's fucken good! Oh and its almost spring turkey season! :) | | |
| Ah nothing like listeing to Kenny Chesney for three days straight. Makes me wish I was somewhere else. With a pole in one hand, a beer in the other, the sun beating on my bear back, in water up to my knees. Its funny how with all of the things you could possibley want I just want to get away from it all. I cannot wait for summer! I slack off now, but then I will be slacking off with a farmer's tan... which is so much better | | |
